Hi Friends~! lately I’ve been so into planning that I ended up buying two lovely planners that I’m waiting to arrive :P Meanwhile I decided to upcycle an old planner my mom had given me long time ago.

On the inside the colors were very plain and since I wanted to use some pastel colors on the dividers, I decided to make a cute makeover and removed all the inserts, dividers and the calculator!

As you could see on the first image, the cover it’s made from jean and it had a wallet attached on its back, which made it voluminous and not portable. So~ I took my seam ripper and scissors and started removing the back wallet. I ended up saving the back cover plus the original fabric.

Then I just glued the back cover with the fabric and used some paper clips as clamps (hehe); then I let it dry for a day. Meanwhile I started cutting and sewing the new fabric cover, I ended up very happy with the result:

I was so happy with the makeover that immediately I made some inserts and dividers, I also added cute paper clips and washi tape samples. Here’s a small video I posted on my personal IG account (You can follow me HERE :D).

As you could see on the video, it has 8 dividers and 7 sections, which are:
  • Monthly Calendar
  • To-do List
  • Shopping List
  • Etsy Orders
  • Expenses
  • Happy Mail (Snail Mail)
  • Daily Tarot Card. Originally it was “Goals” but I keep track of them on my Blog Planner (You can get yours HERE).
So, what do you think? Do you also like to keep yourself organized using journals and/or planners? I can’t wait for my two new planners to arrive, once I have them on my hands I’ll make an “unboxing + review” video ♥! See you soon my friends~ have a lovely week ^.~
